Creating a Restaurant
Restaurants are built entirely in-game through the admin builder wizard — no mapping, no config, no restart.
Open the builder
As an admin, run:
/restaurantadmin
This command is permission-gated: on QBCore/ESX/Qbox it requires the framework's admin permission. (If no framework is detected it falls back to open access — lock this down on a live server.)
The wizard
A guided, step-by-step tutorial walks you through the flow the first time (replay it anytime with /resettutorial).
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| 1 — Name & Blip | Set the restaurant name, purchase price, and the map blip (sprite + color), then place the blip in-world with Get Coords. |
| 2 — Zone | Draw the restaurant boundary polygon (LEFT CLICK / E to add a point, BACKSPACE to undo, ENTER to finish). This defines the working area for staff check-ins and element visibility. |
| 3 — Stations | Add and place stations (grill, fryer, prep board, POS, seats…). Each is positioned live in the world. |
| 4 — Save | Review and build. The restaurant becomes purchasable and manageable. |
Placing stations & props
For each station you choose whether it spawns a physical prop or is a prop-less interaction point. You can fine-tune prop position/heading and place customer seats individually. See Stations for the full type list.
Editing & deleting
Re-open /restaurantadmin, pick an existing restaurant from the sidebar, and you can edit its stations, blip and zone, or delete it. Changes are written to the database and hot-applied to all clients.
Ownership
A finished restaurant is unowned until purchased at its Purchase Point, or assigned by an admin. Once owned, the management tablet unlocks for the owner and their employees — see Ownership & Management Tablet.
